Next Move

So, it’s dawning on you now, the finish line of the great race that is University draws closer, and for a lot of people this is a terrifying prospect. Question upon question creeps into your thoughts;

• What am I going to do?

• Where am I going to live?
•  
• Do I have to move back home?
•  
• Do I have to sign up for JSA?
•  
• Is my only choice a Masters through lack of jobs?

The Graditude would like to begin with saying…. Relax. You are not alone, every year of the 400,000 students graduating, 332,000 are in exactly the same position as you. The important thing is not to panic, think logically and remember you have been to university, you have worked hard to get a degree so you WILL find what you want to do and do it…. One way or the other.

Here at the Graditude we get it! We all graduated in June 2012, we all endeavoured the struggles that you are facing, we aren’t a recruitment agency trying to paint the job market in pretty pink for profit, we aren’t your parents breathing down your neck to push you to secure a position and we certainly aren’t here to tell you what to do.

We are here to say we have been in your situation, we understand how hard it is out there at the moment, but if you follow our instructions on post-university choices we can promise you will end up in the place you wanted to…. Whatever that may be.
